CO₂ laser resurfacing has long been considered the gold standard for treating deeper skin concerns like fine lines, wrinkles, texture and scarring.

It works by removing damaged layers of skin while stimulating powerful collagen and elastin renewal, giving you smoother, firmer, clearer skin over
time.

But not all CO₂ lasers are created equal—and that’s where Tetra Pro by DEKA shines.

Customisable - this allows for adjustable settings tailored to your skin type and concerns.

CoolPeel Technology - this offers resurfacing benefits with minimal downtime and is safe on all skin tones and types

Faster Healing - as a result from less heat damage means quicker recovery and less discomfort.

Versatile & Effective - the Deka treats a wide range of skin issues safely and reliably.

Tetra Pro gives us the best of both worlds serious results with a gentler approach

What indications can be treated?

Some examples of concerns treated effectively are:

  • acne scars
  • post-surgical scar revision
  • photoaged (heavily sun-damaged skins)
  • thickened, orange peel-looking skin
  • enlarged or dilated pores
  • dense epidermal pigment (such as excessive freckling or very densely packed sun spots)
  • skin laxity better known as elastosis or sagging of the skin
  • fine lines, wrinkles and rhytides (very deep set, heavy wrinkles)

What is the downtime?

Depending on the severity of the indication we are treating, will depend on each patient's downtime.

The platform we have selected for Klinika is currently the leader in CO2 technology - providing extremely effective protocols that provide the skin with incredible results.

The downtime for each patient will be a little different, depending on what tier or CO2 you are having, what your expectations are, how many treatments are discussed in consultation and what downtime you can be subject to.

For example:

LIGHT COOLPEEL
This is a superficial treatment, it acts like a very thorough buff and polish - this would be recommended for someone focused on proactive, preventative aging. The downtime is around 7 days - 3 days of red and sunburnt-feeling skin, followed by 4 days of skin roughness, where the skin experiences its own desquamation.

MEDIUM COOLPEEL & DEEP COOLPEEL
This is a slightly deeper correctional treatment, where the downtime is slightly more intense - 3-4 days of red, sunburnt-feeling skin, followed by about 4-5 days of skin roughness. After the skin has renewed, it may be slightly pink in colour - this is normal and indicates fresh tissue and active blood supply to that tissue. It is what's called a transient post-procedural skin reaction and is expected when performing these kinds of treatments.

DOT THERAPY/ABLATION
This is the treatment that people know of traditional CO2, where the entire surface area of the face is heavily treated. The post-procedure management involves a more concentrated wound care approach as well as routine in clinic follow ups to ensure healing is going perfectly for positive outcomes. The downtime period for a treatment like this is 2-3 weeks, with 2-3 months of post-inflammatory erythema (red - pink looking skin) whilst the reticular fibres (collagen and elastin) thicken up and plump out the skin.

How do I know which level I need?

We ask everyone to book a consultation to start with. This allows us to assess your skin, your expectations and run through the downtime etc. The consultation is $80. This is redeemable if you go ahead with a treatment even at a later date.

I have melasma, is C02 Suitable?

Unfortunately, C02 is not suitable for those who have melasma.
